Chrona
Insights & review
See trends and breakdowns in the in-app Dashboard, and rate your time blocks as focused, neutral, or distracted in the Review workflow.
Beyond the raw timeline, Chrona helps you make sense of your time. This page (for staff) covers the in-app Dashboard for trends and breakdowns, and the Review workflow for rating how you spent each block.
The in-app Dashboard
Open Dashboard from the top toolbar for an at-a-glance view of where your time went.
Choose a range
At the top, set the Range you want to analyze:
- Selected day, Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, or Custom (which reveals Start and End date pickers).
- Toggle Include System cards to include or exclude automatic System activity.
Key metrics
Four cards summarize the range:
| Metric | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Tracked | Total time Chrona captured as activity. |
| Untracked | Time in the range with no cards (gaps). |
| Review coverage | The share of your tracked time you've rated in Review. |
| Longest Work block | Your longest uninterrupted block in the Work category. |
Breakdown panels
Below the metrics, the dashboard shows:
- Category breakdown — each category's total time, with a colored bar showing its share of the range.
- Daily totals — one stacked bar per day, colored by category. Click any day to open it in the Timeline.
- Review — your Focus, Neutral, and Distracted totals, how much of your tracked (non-System) time you've covered, and how many cards are still unreviewed.
- Top titles — the activities you spent the most time on.
Note: If there's nothing to show, the dashboard reads "No dashboard data" — generate timeline cards first (record and let analysis run) or pick a different range.
The Review workflow
Review lets you add your own judgment on top of what Chrona recorded, rating each block as focused, neutral, or distracted. Over time this builds a picture of how your time actually felt, not just what you did.
To review your day:
- Open Review from the top toolbar (it shows the currently selected day).
- Chrona lists the cards that still need attention, with the goal: rate cards until coverage reaches 80%. Each row shows the card's title, time range, category, and how much of it is already covered.
- For each card, click Focus, Neutral, or Distracted.
- Coverage updates as you go. Once everything is at least 80% covered, you'll see "Nothing to review."
Tip: Your review ratings feed the Dashboard's Review panel and can be folded into the Ask chat and journal drafts, so a few minutes of rating makes those features noticeably sharper.
Next, put your timeline to work with Ask & Journal.
